Trying a different pose and background colour…quite pleased with the result.
I couldn’t resist taking a photo of this gorgeous hunk of pooch who was patiently waiting for his owner. He’s an English Bull Terrier and as he looked a little bit of a toughie (probably a big softie really) I decided to name him ‘Cuddles’. Acrylic on canvas, 50x50cm.
Just completed this commission. This is Cooper, a handsome German Shepherd with a wonderful personality who was a joy to paint. I love painting images of animals with loads of natural sunlight on them as it highlights their fur, eyes and noses – hopefully bringing life to the painting.
I know I shouldn’t mention the ‘C’ word when we haven’t even got to Halloween or Bonfire Night, but as we all know, it’ll be here before we know it.
