After entering my first ever online competition, I was delighted to be notified that my painting of “Henry” had been highly commended in the ‘Leisure Painter’ magazine section!  It’s encouraged me to have a go at more art competitions from now on.

Trying out a new background colour (very pale grey/green) and composition…quite pleased with the result. This will be going for sale in the newly refurbished House of Sher development in Glasgow when it opens next month. IMG_0369

Henry, NFS

Henry was a much loved black Labrador who gave us love and laughter.  Painting Henry helped me to adjust to his absence and I smile whenever I look at this painting of him.
